Tim Stoa seniorpastor@bethlehemlutheranfargo.org I have served Bethlehem since 1995, and been Senior Pastor since 1999. I have previously been at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Fredonia, ND and St. Matthew-Rosendal Lutheran Parish in Thompson, ND. I was ordained in 1981 from I am married to Janice Stoa who teaches at Oak Grove Lutheran School in Fargo. We have two grown sons, Nathan and Daniel. I am an exercise enthusiast, golfer, canoer, and avid reader. I see my faith in Jesus as a life of piety without legalisms. How does my life and faith interact under the gift of God’s awesome grace? My personal Bible passage is l Corinthians 10.31 “Whatever you do, even if it is as simple as eating and drinking, do everything to the glory of God.” |

Pastor Ann Jacobson associatepastor@bethlehemlutheranfargo.org I began serving at Bethlehem in December 2010. The focus of my call, among other things, includes supporting a culture of hospitality and outreach, in which we welcome and respond to the needs of others. Prior to Bethlehem, I served at First in Fargo, ND; Hope in Fergus Falls, MN; Calvary in Park Rapids, MN; and Zion in Chisago City, MN. I grew up in Brainerd, MN and graduated from Concordia College in 1986, and from Luther Seminary in 1997. I am married to Peter Jacobson who works for Essentia Health in administration. We have three children, Emily, Nathan and Lydia. My soul is renewed by spending time around the dinner table, at family cabins, and trying to move my body with the help of Pilates and yoga. |

Pastor Sonja Kjar visitationpastor@bethlehemlutheranfargo.org I have been at Bethlehem since 2008, as Visitation Pastor. Prior to Bethlehem I served in congregations in Arthur and Hunter, ND, and at Olivet Lutheran Church. I have worked as a Chaplain at Prairie St. John’s and Hospice of the Red River Valley. Currently, I also do some on-call chaplaincy work for Sanford Hospital. I am a Board Certified Chaplain (since 2006.) I grew up in Bloomington, MN and graduated from Luther College in 1986, and from Luther Seminary in 1996. I am married to Brad Kjar, (Wyndmere, ND.) He has worked in the grain business; currently working with Clifford Merchandising Group as a corn buyer for Tharaldson Ethanol. Our children are Annika, Anders and Kai. When I am not chauffeuring kids, I also enjoy a good cup of coffee, movies, reading, and going for walks. |
