ELCA

Bethlehem is one congregation among nearly 11,000 congregations forming the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The ELCA is one of the largest Christian denominations in the United States, with approximately 4.5 million members across the 50 states and in the Caribbean region. The ELCA, as a church body, emphasizes "God's Work, Our Hands," the saving grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, unity among Christians and service in the world.

As a congregation of the ELCA, Bethlehem enjoys ministry connections with churches, colleges, and faith institutions and service organizations in the community, the USA, and through mission commitments to Cameroon and the Central Africian Republic.
