About Us

Bethlehem Lutheran Church is a Christian community of faith that seeks to live in and live out the gift of being held in God’s grace.  This journey of grace entails seeking to grow and go, grow in trust of God and go to others with God’s love and care.  Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27)   Bethlehem’s community life centers on doing and being this by worshiping, learning and serving.

Worship – We gather to hear the life-giving Word of God and celebrate God’s saving of our lives through Jesus’ cross and resurrection.  We gather to be fed this Word, so to be restored and reminded of God’s presence and power. We gather to be united and engaged with other people on this journey of faith. The singing, reading, preaching, eating and praying of worship are vehicles of God’s grace. We invite you to come and worship with us! To find out more, click on WORSHIP.

Learn – We live in a great big world and worship an even greater and bigger God.   Therefore, no matter our age, we are all invited to be students (disciples) and learn from our Teacher (Jesus Christ) about this world, God’s grace and our purpose.  Regular study of God’s Word, the Bible and conversation with others is the setting for growing and knowing God’s grace.  Such lifelong learning inspires and empowers us to live as disciples of Jesus Christ. Please check out the opportunities to learn at Bethlehem by clicking on LEARN.

Serve - Every day we have the opportunity to make this world a better place.  Every day we have the opportunity to put our faith into action.  Every day we have the opportunity to be people of grace and mercy, of compassion and care, of justice and mercy…for a world in need.  At Bethlehem we seek to do God’s work through our hands right in our neighborhood as well as around the globe.  To find out more how we partner with others to bring and be God’s love, click on SERVE.
